With the year drawing to a close, employees at Guires expectantly looked forward to ending the year on a high note. The esteemed halls of Guires held an electric vibe with the ongoing ‘Secret Santa’ game where employees were discretely allocating fun tasks to their fellow team members, while those at the receiving end kept guessing the identity of their Secret Santa.
31st December was a date that the team awaited with bated breath for more than one reason. First, in anticipation of celebrating the end of an eventful year and welcoming the forthcoming New Year. Second, the big ‘Secret Santa’ reveal, and third, the downtime, the refreshing break from the monotony of day-to-day work.
To mark the event, a celebratory lunch was organized by the organization with a menu that tickled the palate of all. The non-vegetarians were served with mouth-watering mutton-biryani while the vegetarians feasted on a delectable vegetarian platter.
In the evening, at the prefixed hour, Guiresians assembled at the area designated for the celebration. The Founder-Chairman – Ganesan, and the CEO – Dr. Radhika Ganesan always ensure to be a part of such events. Their presence added warmth and significance to the event, as they shared anecdotes and motivated the team with their words of encouragement. What ensued was an evening of fun and frolic with some exciting games, followed by a joyful exchange of gifts, ending the Secret Santa suspense.
On the whole, it was an evening to remember, underlined with laughter, joyous camaraderie, and the spirit of celebration which rightly defines the Guires family.
