Guires exists to turn bioscience into safe, effective and sustainable products that improve the health of people, animals and the planet.
Founded in 2009 as G&R Consultancy, a three-person research and analytics team in Chennai, Guires has grown into an international group of specialist businesses, trusted by companies, universities and research institutions across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
What sets us apart is integration. Our formulation kitchens, nutraceutical, cosmetic and microbiology labs, sensory booths and pilot production lines work alongside clinical, regulatory and scientific publishing expertise, so a client can move from literature review to formulation, pilot batch, clinical study, regulatory dossier and publication with one trusted partner.
Our ambition is bold: to build one of the world's most trusted bioscience innovation groups. We invest continuously in world-class research, pilot manufacturing and analytical laboratories, in the quality standards and accreditations global markets demand, and in the people and partnerships that turn breakthrough ideas into products the world needs, across food, nutrition, cosmetics, pet nutrition, agriculture, herbal and life sciences.
Behind this work are PhD scientists, biotechnologists, microbiologists, physicians, biostatisticians, food technologists, cosmetic chemists, veterinary nutritionists, analytical chemists and regulatory writers, united by evidence, integrity and a passion for real-world impact.
Our Journey
Founded as G&R Consultancy
Ganesan Anbazhagan starts G&R Consultancy in India with a team of three, offering research and analytics. Its services later grew into the group's specialist brands.
Guires Healthcare Pvt Ltd, CFME and Food Research Lab
Guires Healthcare Private Limited is formed, launching the Centre for Food, Mood & Exercise (CFME), an evidence-based preventive health model, alongside Food Research Lab.
Publishing and clinical research brands
The original consultancy services become Pubrica and Pepgra, serving researchers, journals and life science companies.
Food Research Lab grows
From a pilot R&D lab for food, beverages and nutraceuticals to a full contract research, development and pilot manufacturing organisation.

The group expands operations in India and the UK.
