Guires is pleased to announce that, from January 2027, the group will move to TICEL Bio Park in Taramani, Chennai, opening a new chapter as Guires Research & Innovation Centre. The new centre will bring together research, development, pilot manufacturing and analytical testing for food, nutrition, cosmetics, pet nutrition, agriculture, herbal products and the life sciences, all under one roof.
The centre will house two units. The first will be our corporate office, home to leadership, client services and our research and publication teams. The second will be the Guires Labs research division, where we are setting up world-class R&D, pilot manufacturing and analytical laboratories to serve clients across the globe.
TICEL Bio Park, established with support from the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, is one of the country's leading biotechnology parks, with purpose-built infrastructure for life science research and a thriving community of bioscience companies, start-ups and research institutions. Being part of this ecosystem gives Guires immediate access to laboratory-ready infrastructure and utilities, and opens new opportunities for collaboration with partners across the biotechnology sector.
Our move to TICEL Bio Park is a commitment to our clients: world-class science, under one roof, held to the highest standards of quality and integrity.
The new facility is being designed to meet the most demanding quality and regulatory requirements. Guires plans to pursue the accreditations and recognitions that innovative product development demands, including NABL accreditation for testing, GMP certification for pilot manufacturing, ISO quality management, APEDA registration, US FDA facility registration, and recognition of our in-house R&D by DSIR and DBT, so that products developed here can move confidently from the bench to markets around the world.
For clients, this means one trusted partner from first idea to finished product: concept and formulation, pilot-scale production, analytical and microbiological testing, shelf-life and sensory studies, regulatory documentation and scientific publication, delivered with the same rigour, confidentiality and transparency that have defined Guires since 2009.
The move reflects how far Guires has come, from a three-person consultancy to a multi-business research and innovation group, and our ambition for the years ahead: to develop safe, effective and sustainable products that create real-world impact for people, animals and the planet.
We are grateful to our clients, partners and colleagues whose trust has made this growth possible. The whole Guires family is eagerly looking forward to the inauguration of our new home in January 2027, and we look forward to welcoming clients and partners to TICEL Bio Park.
