Sixteen years of Guires deserved more than one celebration. After the launch of Tulitics and the opening of our new cafeteria on 15 July, the Guires family headed out on 25 July 2026 for a much-anticipated team day at VGP Universal Kingdom, Chennai, the grand finale of our 16th Guires Day celebrations.
Colleagues from every business and department, from research and publishing to our laboratories, operations and support teams, travelled together for a day away from deadlines and data sheets. For many of our newer team members, it was the perfect chance to get to know colleagues they usually meet only in meetings and messages.
The day was packed with adrenaline. Brave souls took on the giant swing and spinning thrill rides, hands in the air and voices raised, while others enjoyed the gentler balloon rides, games and attractions. Every ride came with plenty of laughter, friendly teasing and the kind of shared screams that turn colleagues into friends.
The trust we build with each other outside the office is the same trust our clients feel in the work we deliver.
Between rides, teams regrouped over snacks and lunch, swapped stories and posed for countless photos, ending with a big group picture that captured the spirit of the day: one Guires family, relaxed, happy and together.
Days like this matter. The trust, openness and camaraderie built outside the office carry straight back into our work, making us better collaborators and more dependable partners for the clients who rely on us. Investing in our people's wellbeing and joy is part of how we deliver quality with integrity.
